Hi! I'm Gin. I am a student at Saskpoly in Graphic Communications. I'm from southern Sask and love animals, the outdoors, and design.

Background

I grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Saskatchewan with 3 siblings, 2 sisters and 1 brother. I went to school in the village of Hazlet from kindergarten through grade 12. I grew up surrounded by animals and naturally loved them. My parents gave me my first cow when I was about 8 to start making some money, because we lived so far away from everything it was hard to get other kinds of jobs. I have lots of animals now, maybe too many, but I love the way I grew up and everything it taught me. I'm currently a graphic communications student and am excited about what the future holds.

Echo

To know me is to know Echo. I got her 7 years ago when she was 1 and I was 14. She was born on our ranch, and is quarter horse, appaloosa, and paint. She had no training and almost zero human interaction. I put hours of everyday into this horse for years and I'm so proud of what she's become - a model citizen!
