In the Viking village of Berk, young Hiccup, an inventive but awkward teen, struggles to fit in with his tribe, who train to fight dragons that constantly raid their village. When Hiccup captures a rare Night Fury dragon, he discovers that dragons are not the fearsome enemies his people believe them to be. Forming a secret friendship with the dragon, whom he names Toothless, Hiccup learns that understanding and compassion can change the world. Together, they challenge traditions, proving that humans and dragons can coexist peacefully, and inspiring his village to rethink their ways.
